Seniorlink featured in Forbes article on caregiving

Seniorlink was recently highlighted in Forbes magazine for creating an innovative care model that uses technology to empower and support family caregivers. The story, “Caregivers: Supporting And Learning From Our Most Valuable Human Resource,” dives into the stressful role of family caregiving, emphasizing the healthcare industry’s growing need to tap into and support family members caring for loved ones at-home.

Seniorlink was listed as a solution for connecting caregivers with other members of the care team using Vela, Seniorlink’s care collaboration app, to ensure caregivers receive the support needed to care for their loved one.

According to Forbes, “one key way to address this complicated situation [providing care at-home] is to enable caregivers to offer the best possible support for the patient while also feeling supported themselves. For instance, Seniorlink is an in-home care model that uses technology to empower family caregivers with the expertise of a professional care team, providing the caregiver with peace of mind while producing better outcomes for patients.”

The article goes on to mention several other innovative companies who are going above and beyond to support family caregivers.
