Seniorlink SVP of People & Culture Mary Schafer Discusses Workforce and Caregiving During COVID-19 in Massachusetts Business Roundtable Webinar

Mary Schafer, Senior Vice President of People & Culture at Seniorlink, joined the Massachusetts Caregiver Coalition‘s inaugural webinar May 6 where she discussed how Seniorlink has navigated the coronavirus crisis. The webinar, “Supporting Family Caregivers During COVID-19”, brought together business leaders as well as community and caregiving advocates to discuss unique ways employers can support family caregivers in Massachusetts during the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Schafer brought her unique perspective on workforce culture to the session “Balancing Work & Caregiving – Practical Strategies & Resources for Employers & Caregivers” by highlighting ways employers can be more supportive of employees during the pandemic. Speakers presenting alongside Schafer included Jill McNamara, Senior Manager of Senior Care, Care.com; Hazel Moran, Vice President, Head, Global Patient Insights and Advocacy, EMD Serono; Liz O’Donnell, Author, Working Daughter; and moderator Alexandra Drane, Co-Founder & CEO, Rebel Health and ARCHANGELS Caregiver Experience: “What You’re Feeling is Normal.”
